Default advise

hi ive got a wrx 1994 it missfires what things could possibly go wrong it missfires on start up drops revs and smoke comes out where you put the oil people say try changing plugs and coil pack any advise would be great

define smoke coming out of where you put the oil??? you mean in the oil filler neck? but what type of smoke?
does it do this all the time? or just cold start?

yes i mean oil filler neck some 1 told me to get it compreasure tested is this true i start it up and it missfires and after 5 mins the revs drop and feels it gona cut out any advise what it could be

could just be an idle control valve. i get some mist coming out of my catch can and my compressions is fine
