loud tapping boost solenoid,Whats the reason for this?

loud tapping boost solenoid,Whats the reason for this?

Since having the car mapped i have a really loud tapping noise coming from the boost solenoid?

It seems to get louder as i accelerate,and when i turn the ignition off it tapps for about 10 seconds

Any idea why this is happening?

my mates avcr solenoid used to do this too, he said it was just because it was working!?

My boost solenoid is the one from the avcr,i kept it on when i sold the unit

mine does this too! andy forrest suggested mounting the solenoid on an l shaped bracket to take the spring out of it! avcr solenoids are just noisy sometimes he said!
