Red face

Having a 'spirited' drive around the Hertfordshire lanes this morning my power steering went (luckily not mid bend) and the battery light came on.

Under closer inspection under the bonnet the belt driving the alternater and power steering had dissintergrated into shreds around the engine bay

I managed to get home on the battery but the car will probably not start in the morning.

Does anyone know roughly what this will cost to replace? Too impatient to wait 'till the morning!!

Thanks

Phil

Car should run on battery alone for at least 6 hours (without lights)

I am around Enfield so will drop it in Lavender Hill. Just wanted a rough idea of price...will probably be twice the price there though!!
