Default STI TYPE R rattle noise wen slowing down, HELP pls!

I have a 1998 Type R, just bought it and noticed that when i slow down a rattle noise sounds for about 3seconds, between 3k and 2k revs.

This rattle only happens when de accelerating and dissappeards when the car is in neutral or the clutch is depressed.

I also noticed that the sound is less noisy in Diff Free position, but when i put it in diff lock or one down, the sound is much louder!

Any help or advice will be much appreciated!

Thanks in advnace.

Hi Guys,

Not sure what clutch its come with... Could the rattle be coming from transfer box?? As the sound is louder when is in diff lock position and quiter when in diff free position. Doesnt seem to affect performance tho and the sound only comes when I let go of the accelerator, dropping from 3k to 2k revs.
