Default AeroCatch Bonnet Catches - HELP!!

Gents,

Does anyone have bonnet catches fitted to their motors, inparticular the 'AeroCatch Flush Fit' ones?? I bought some after seeing them fitted to a couple of Subaru's at car shows last year and have finally got them out of the box to install them and discovered that there doesn't seem to be anywhere to fit them on the chassis.

Because the cars I saw did not have their bonnets up, I could not see where they had connected their own bonnet pins. Also because the bonnet tapers down toward the front the catches look like they would appear raised from the bonnet which I do not want!!

The car is a 2005 STI. Any suggestions??

They just attach to the slam panel mate:

As fitted on Arch's car above

Can see how he fitted them here on his project thread:
