Hi all i have a 1994 subaru impreza sti i am about to change the rear diff can a newer type subaru from mine be fitted..is there any difference in any way

any help would be much appreciated

Ratios need to be the same as they all differ, plus depending on year you may need shafts too. Thats ignoring the difference between the r160 and r180 which would require additional hubs brakes etc etc

 

Right ok then i am not sure what ratio's i have ? the car's limited edition a number out of 200 it's a import one i don't no if that narrows down to anything if you no about them any chance anyone could put some information about these ?
