Is that normal Stage 1 uprated or the Stage 1 Racing Pink kit?

Got the clutch from a decent source? Was the flywheel inspected for condition?

There are 2 types of Stage 1 clutches available from Exedy.

Anti-judder version: AZTEC PERFORMANCE ONLINE STORE - WHOLESALE PRICES DIRECT TO THE PUBLIC - Clutches & Lightweight Flywheels :: Subaru Impreza :: Exedy Uprated Organic Racing Clutch Kit - Pink Box - Anti-Judder - 5 Speed

You've either got the other version or the flywheel should have been skimmed imho.

ARE YOU VERY CROSS FELLA ???

What is the exedy model number ? need to compare like with like. Personally I went for a new flywheel to eliminate potential judder/flywheel issues.

They all do it to some degree.

Me and my mate have one fitted, both purchased from different sources (both post on here) and they both judder bad.

Both where fitted to skimmed flywheels too.

Try slipping the clutch alot to get it warm or do a launch, you should then find it judders no more. Well until it glazes over again.

Personally I think its a material issue as soon as you get rid of the glazing it works fine.....
