heat wrapped exhaust headers, uppipe and downpipe
hi i'd like to know the benefits from heat wrapping the following parts, all stainless steel:
exhaust manifold, uppipe and sport cat downpipe?
cheers

And the upshot of doing it - as far as tangible results are concerned - is that the faster gas speed is supposed to gain you a bit of torque/quicker turbo spool-up times i.e. anything up to 150-200rpm sooner. So car will accelerate a tad quicker.
You're always better off WITH it done, than without.

Make sure you get good quality heat wrap tho or your be doing it again next year at your cost
If your doing headers.uppipe and down pipe then you be looking at about £100's worth of good quality stuff. If your unsure PM Harvey he will give you all the advice you will need.

As above, get proper stuff. I believe the DEI product is a no-brainer on that score...
There're probably some other good brands, but are they likely to be that much cheaper per roll? Doubt it.
