ul keep the burble as they are unequal, if u only change headers is a easy job, ul see them under car, 3 bolts per head and 2 two joinning them to up pipe. they will help spool up on turbo, id recommend doing up pipe same time for better spool up results. up pipe is more difficult to change
where do they supply a good set of headers and up pipe what everyone else using i no u can port them but what u pay porting them u might aswell buy some

Yeah i was wondering which are the best to go for?
I had ScoobyClinic which I thought was a great improvement over standard, I then changed to a set from Lateral Performance, far better than the ScoobyClinic. Spool up on my MD312T was very much improved and the noise on full boost is awesome!
they fitted perfectly and only took an hour or so to do.got all the gaskets, bolts, nuts etc with the headers.still have the burble up to about 4 grand then it smooths out and sounds like a big bike.made loads difference to the car as spools up so much quicker.also make sure you wrap the headers and up-pipe to help with spool up.

That's great buddy thanks for your help, did you go the headers I posted a link to?

Thats good enough for me plus im not paying the mrs is
well they are good for the money and not everyone wants to spend silly money on their car.£200 is a good price compared to ebay etc...
i gained 39 bhp from hks system and the headers so they must work as well.
each to thier own and these headers are a good starting point unless your going to be one of the 'i have 450 bhp lot'(have driven a few big bhp cars and they are awful on normal roads.300 is plenty just add big brakes and suspension and beat them in the corners.
Im gonna get to 300-320 and see how i get on and take it from there, mines got stock sti suspension and the pink sti rear arms so handling is already pretty decent just need some good tyres

the best headers I have used, seen etc are the headers that Mark @ Lateral sells..
both with regard to spool and power and reliability..
Cannot comment good or bad on scoobyclinic headers as don't recall examining any.
my concern with these and it maybe unjust.. is that they look a similar construction to the megan headers which blow on the flexi joint and around the collector area just before it.
Also there is no slip or flexi joint between the manifold run to left bank and collector.. so any expansion of the manifold will be causing stress on the collector area etc..
Very interested to hear from anyone running them long term to see if they are lasting well.
