Default Why has my bottle of pop frozen?

Serious question: three bottles stood just outside the back door. One 7/8 full of diet cherry pop, the other two with 3" of a French citrus pop in them.
The cherry stuff has frozen, the other two nowhere near.

Is it the sugar content that has stopped them freezing??

apparantly more sugar means lower freezing point, diet coke freezes at 0degc, classic coke at -1degc, the french stuff must be have more sugar or be french antifreeze-wine.
