Talking Ice Road Truckers

Did anyone else watch the new series on Tuesday night?

That hill they called the Roller coaster . How the hell do they get a truck pulling 20-50 Tonnes up and down that?

No wonder they earn $125,000 per load.

Good to see the Polar Bear back to take on this road, and Alex is back trucking after his illness last season.

Going to be a good series this year.

i drive a wagon for a living but the beasts that these fellas drive are an entirely diffrent animal!! the weight they haul loaded evenly actually helps with traction, although it is a fine line between having the weight to help dig in to the surface, and being in the correct gear so as to avoid spinning the wheels. our wagons we use on our roads would just not be up to the job. as for the rollercoaster well same goes really keeping traction by being in the correct gear is the main concern but you are gonna be fooked tbh if you meet anyone coming the other way that has jack-knifed for example. big cahoonahs are a must!! respect.
