Newbie question, sorry - PPP content
Probably been asked before but as search is not working...blah blah.
Just like to know what I'll actually get for my £1600 if I decide to get a PPP fitted to my MY02? Does it actually make a great deal of difference?
(before anyone posts go for various non-standard parts, I've been told by my dealer that my warranty goes out of the window if I use non-approved bits
Also, does anyone know what this does to the insurance, i.e. how many groups the car will increase by?
Cheers

Exhaust midsection/backbox, intercooler hosing, bolt on box to ECU to adjust MAP sensor readings according to RPM (ie not a full remap like the old PPP). Jugde for yourself it that is worth the money. You can certainly achieve a lot more for the same cash but as you say warranty problem.
About 10% increase in peak power, 20% midrange torque. My insurance was ok with up to 10% increase in power, but on the MY02 it might be more like 11%.
