Just out of curiosity, who do you think would come out on top if Amir Khan came up against Ricky Hatton ?

As they were tonight. The leccy for the outside bcast probably cost less than £15 for the Khan fight!

 

Hatton doesnt have many rounds left, but if they went at it, he would be in great shape, and Khan would do well to avoid the devestating body shots. Close one.

 

A fully fit Hatton would beat him, can't stand cocky tw*t Khan.

Hatton would test Khan's glass jaw and put him down, IMHO.

Neother are particularly skillful and rely on brute force. Hatton has the advantage of a better chin.

Is this planned, or just a fantasy thing? Boxing's boring these days.

I must admit, I did contemplate a career in the professional fighting game, but I would never fight a fellow Westcountryman. I realised then that this would be the massive hurdle between me and the world title shot.

To be fair, does it make any difference whether Khan would or wouldnt fight another muslim? If another Muslim comes along and challenges for his belt, he will relinquish it rather than fight him? I dont think so! If that is the case, call me Myles Hamed Ali, Im off for the WBA Light Welterweight belt.

Next you will be telling me Khan put some extra special infidel beating effort because Salita was Jewish.

personally i think hatton would win, be a close fight if it could get going but i dont think kahn has been hit with anything like hattons power body shots.

as for all this 'paki' calling whats that all about? he's a BRITISH world champion and i for one am proud of the lad..the uk is a mixed race country now and not just that a huge percentage are born in the uk which in my eyes make them british. so get over it!

 

on both scores. If Hatton tags him with one of those bodyshots, Khans ribs will be powdered. Khan is by far the better boxer though, and has been floored, so he wont want to go back there, same as Hatton.

 

Khan all the way especially now he is being trained by Freddie Roach.

He would have the speed and agility to get out of the way of most of Hatton`s punches just like Freddie Roach has instilled into Manny Pacquiao, he would also have the speed to counter most of what Hatton throws.

Yes Hatton has a good chin and he`s been a very good professional but look at what Pacquiao did to him, a lot of good judges were saying that Pacquiao wouldn`t have the power to trouble Hatton, it was a combination of speed and accuracy that floored Hatton and i`m sure Freddie Roach would have some great tactics to beat a fighter that his camp have already beaten before.

Personally i think Juan Manuel Marquez is the mopre realistic option, if Khan wants to gain some credibility he needs to be fighting the likes of Marquez sooner rather than later.
