can anyone tell me how to knock this light off as i have just used jump leads to start my other car ,after that got in my car and this light is on now..........how do i get it off, the light is on the top left i think it lights up on start up then goes out normally,but now it on all the time in the book it say malfunction indicator light..........

 

Are you in South Wales?
Otherwise it should clear itself after 4-5 good starts, if the problem no longer exists.

 

Read somewhere you can clear by turning ignition on and off quickly 10 times. No idea if this is true as I have had no opportunity to try.

 

Take the bulb out lol

 

Its the management light
Be careful!!! mine was on for a while cos of a sensor being off so it was nothing important. Problem was if there's any other pending problems there's no way of knowing cos the lights already on. I paid the price........£3k for a new engine! :-( Amanda
