Some slight noise came up, after installing a hardcore pitchstop.
Better be safe, then sorry, the engine was pulled.
Then this is why the engine had a noise (thank God for hardcore noise amplifing Beatrush )

According to the mechanic, the bores are NOT in need of honing. We caught the ******* problem in time.
The bearings were still in pretty good shape, so I would say no, but I did not ask the mechanic about this one.
The thing is, that I could have just put the whole thing back together, with new piston(s) or just 1 piston replacement. I did not want that since I had a good deal on a Spec-C Short motor and I wanted a little more power anyways, so I have decided to sell these and have a different short motor w/ semi-closed deck supporting at least 360-380 BHP.
Sure, we can discuss that in PM, please send me the list what you would like to have and I give you a total. (e.g. Do you want TMIC, injectors etc. as well, or the engine parts only etc. )
Thanks.
Cheers,
R.
