Question

What was the time frame between which the first WRX was brought over by Subaru UK, and when the STi was officially imported? The rumors of the STi in the colonies are running rampent, and I wondering if the time frame will be the same.

I think I may have been one of the first STi Type UK owners.

Collected it on the 12th January.

Hi Rob

What do you think of it, have you done anything to your STI, exhaust etc?

I'm just asking because i'm expecting to have mine in about 7 or 8 weeks from now.

Urban,

Traded up from an MY98 Turbo. Build quality & finish are streets ahead, performance on a par with the old std turbo in a straight line but the handling is far superior on the twisty bits, brakes are awesome.

Can't compare to a P1 though as I have never been in one, but there are plenty of old threads on the topic.
