Shefield United at home today...........ko at 12 midday, "on police advice":mad;
Bullsh*t Iron, the police offered you two prices, one for a 12 midday ko, one for 3pm, and, as usual, you picked the cheaper one, with no thought for your supporters. Rubbish. Loads of fathers with kids who play on saturday mornings will not now be able to attend, and neither will their offspring
AND I bet we make it three defeats in a row

And we did it..........2-1 to the Iron, becoming only the third club to beat Newcastle United at home, or away, this season
I REALLY hope we can keep this up.
The test will come when bids come in during the January transfer window for Hooper, maybe Hayes, Toggers, Wooly etc.
Hope we don't hear the usual words, "We can't stand in the lads' way, they are going to a bigger club/higher grade of football, (oh and please give us the money as soon as possible, our chairman wants his cash back)"

B@stard!!!!!!!!
How the HELL do we beat the likes of Sheffield United, 3-1, then Newcastle United, 2-1, both in the top 7, then LOSE to Peterborough United, who are in the bottom three, and have only won once this season, not by a single goal, but by THREE CLEAR GOALS
I HATE supporting this lot, I really do
We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO inconsistent!

Fourth round of the cup, here we come.........sigh
Here's a ready made excuse for the club when we start to slide down the league again.
Plus, when we are relegated, they can say, "Ah yes, but we had a good cup run, and the money will help us rebuild next year."
Trouble is, it never does, it just disappears

And yes I recieved (and deleted) your voicemail with haste.
Heads up, footy-lovers, Scunny vs Citeh, Glanford Park, ko 4pm today.
Forty years TO THE DAY that we won 2-1 away vs Sheffield Wednesday, then in the old division one while we were in the old division four, 4th round of the FA cup.

Sat watching it now, Jeff. The equaliser was a belting finish, although not impressed with Murphy for the second just before half time.
2-4, could have been sooooo different had we taken the chances in the first half. Oh well now to concentrate on staying in the CCC.
The Wendies at home on wednesday night, a real 6-pointer
