Away at Brizzle Ci'y today. They are 100% at home this year. Will we come down to earth with a bang, or continue the run? The tension is palpable........
:D

tanyatriangles 19 September 2009 10:20 PM

.............................and the mighty Iron come away with a point, 90th minute McCann equaliser, first team to take ANY points from Brizzle at home this season...........YAY!:luxhello::luxhello::luxhello ::luxhello::luxhello:

The Dogs B******s 19 September 2009 10:26 PM

Well done

tanyatriangles 22 September 2009 10:54 PM

And the mighty Iron march into the carling cup 4th round:thumb:

Man Utd, or Liverpool away next round please;)

Well, OK, Man City away, that'll do, I suppose.

Meanwhile, if we don't stop scoring in the 90th minute, or extra time, my heart isn't going to suvive;)

tanyatriangles 27 September 2009 08:51 PM

Away to the Florists on Wednesday night.

alcazar 01 October 2009 12:35 PM

Back to earth with a bang.:(

alcazar 04 October 2009 06:31 PM

Sigh:rolleyes:

Plymouth, unable to win at home this season....that is, until they met the might Iron:rolleyes:

alcazar 17 October 2009 04:26 AM

Shefield United at home today...........ko at 12 midday, "on police advice":mad;

Bullsh*t Iron, the police offered you two prices, one for a 12 midday ko, one for 3pm, and, as usual, you picked the cheaper one, with no thought for your supporters. Rubbish. Loads of fathers with kids who play on saturday mornings will not now be able to attend, and neither will their offspring:mad:

AND I bet we make it three defeats in a row:(

alcazar 17 October 2009 02:10 PM

Woo-hoo, 3-1 to the mighty Iron. Now can we please STAY back on track?

The Toon army are here midweek:) I'd REALLY like to do them too.

alcazar 21 October 2009 12:01 PM

And we did it..........2-1 to the Iron, becoming only the third club to beat Newcastle United at home, or away, this season:thumb:

I REALLY hope we can keep this up.

The test will come when bids come in during the January transfer window for Hooper, maybe Hayes, Toggers, Wooly etc.

Hope we don't hear the usual words, "We can't stand in the lads' way, they are going to a bigger club/higher grade of football, (oh and please give us the money as soon as possible, our chairman wants his cash back)"

alcazar 26 October 2009 07:30 PM

B@stard!!!!!!!!

How the HELL do we beat the likes of Sheffield United, 3-1, then Newcastle United, 2-1, both in the top 7, then LOSE to Peterborough United, who are in the bottom three, and have only won once this season, not by a single goal, but by THREE CLEAR GOALS:mad:

I HATE supporting this lot, I really do:mad: We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO inconsistent!:brickwall:brickwall

alcazar 02 November 2009 09:47 AM

So that's two in a row, again:(, third home defeat this season:(:(

alcazar 08 November 2009 08:04 AM

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah b*llox, three defeats in a row, AGAIN!!!!!!

Get your wallet open before it's too late Wharton!

alcazar 03 January 2010 01:40 PM

Fourth round of the cup, here we come.........sigh:(

Here's a ready made excuse for the club when we start to slide down the league again.

Plus, when we are relegated, they can say, "Ah yes, but we had a good cup run, and the money will help us rebuild next year."

Trouble is, it never does, it just disappears:(

I'm tempted to go watch the match :norty:

alcazar 03 January 2010 08:06 PM

Nah.........I'd be sick every time I looked at Tevez, and sickened by how he has brought the game into disrepute.

alcazar 10 January 2010 07:54 PM

How good were we against Derby?

I trust you all watched us as the featured team on the Football League Show?

Nice to see young Cloughy looking sick. Next manager to go?

Heads up, footy-lovers, Scunny vs Citeh, Glanford Park, ko 4pm today.

Forty years TO THE DAY that we won 2-1 away vs Sheffield Wednesday, then in the old division one while we were in the old division four, 4th round of the FA cup.:thumb:

Sat watching it now, Jeff. The equaliser was a belting finish, although not impressed with Murphy for the second just before half time.

alcazar 24 January 2010 06:31 PM

2-4, could have been sooooo different had we taken the chances in the first half. Oh well now to concentrate on staying in the CCC.

The Wendies at home on wednesday night, a real 6-pointer:)
