Hi all,

had some hesitation issues with my 2006 2.5 sti and I have had a coment that it's the fuel I am using.
Does anyone else have to only use super unleaded from say shell or bp only and that tesco's 99 or super markets own wiper unleaded cause running problems?

 

I had my car mapped on Tesco 99 and I interchange between it and V power (same ron) with no probs. It is only when using 97 or lower that I experienced hestitation with my old 03 sti ppp.

Maybe a bad batch - I here it happens, as the ron rating degrades over time

 

Anyone had issues with super markets super unleaded like sainsbury's super unleaded?
