Default Couple of questions

OK now we have the WRX need to know:

what is the best workshop manual? 1995 Jap import WRX
what engine oil - weight and type
how much oil to refill with filter change
where the bloody hell is the oil filter?


help please until I get a manual.

oil filter is under the car on the driverside front. oil you will have to make up your own mind as difrent people and specs demand difrent oil. IMO a decent 10/40 semi synthetic will do the job when you do the oil change pre fill your filter and before starting unplug the crank sensor, turn it over for 10sec then reconect and start up this will prime the system. job done

There are lots of free workshop manuals in various threads on here...do a search and you'll probably find a few (eventually )
Hope this helps...one I found earlier for pre my97's(go to scooby page & select workshop manuals);
