Default DCCD not working Right?

Hi All,

like most, when turningfull lock at slow speed, parking etc, the car fights its self. Some people put the hand brake on a little until the warnning light comes on, or I switch from auo mode to manual and it stops the fighting problem. With the DCCD measuring road speed and steering angle, it should be able to do the same to the drive system as switching to manual or what the handrake does. Is this a fault or just how they are?

It should be open (ie all the way back) in normal operation, if its more forward then it starts winding the diff up, hence you feel it fighting itself.
Applying the handbrake releases the diff
Topic in the tech archive re dccd (well 2, 1 for classics and one for a-dccd cars)

Just to be clear,on full lock(top orange light)/fully open(fully green)or when in auto. Both my old Sti and the one i have now when in manual and set to full lock or fully open have done what you describe at slow speed so all i do is switch DCCD back to auto when driving a slow speed.
