Default WHERE TO WIRE A TACHO IN A CLASSIC

can any one help me with fitting a tacho with shift light to a 1993 classic inport ,,do i wire it to the back of the clocks or some where els ,,,,ANY HELP WOULD BE GOOD ,,,
