I brought my 2005 wrx in February and also needed discs all round searched ebay and a company did cross vented and through drilled discs for my car £160.00 all round.Fitted them and they look fantastic and perform very well.

A lot of people think EBC stuff is utter shyte - my mate included (who has experimented with more pad/disc set-ups than I care to mention). He is a very good late braker too - much better than myself (I'm too scared lol) - so his opinion is worth at least something lol.

I'm assuming you just want to go for OEM-sized replacements? If so, you can't go wrong wirh Ferodo DS2500 pads and Brembo grooved discs.

A lot of aftermarket discs warp on fast cars (invariably due to their relatively piddly sizes), so you're giving yourself the best chance of this not happening if you buy from a quality brand... and Brembo have been in this game longer than most.

For reference, my mate has settled on the DS2500's and Brembo Sport Maxx discs on his Clio 182 Cup. Okay, I know it's only c.180bhp but he took me out in it and it was an astonishingly potent and impressive OEM-sized combo. He drives his 182 (and Westy SEiW) like they're 'supposed' to be driven and his 182's brakes are fine - no warping, etc...

Unfortunately, my 294mm 6-grooves-per-side ones are well warped ... and I'm NOT even the last of the late-breakers either!

Ds2500 great pads and certainly not the cheapest. Tried and tested and according to me worth every penny.

Discs - i would go for Tarox, brembo. Try godspeed and just tell them what your after and your driving style and i'm sure they could price you something within your budget. Just remember Ds2500's are fantastic for race environments but do you need that type of performance?

Pagid Blue pads are also awesome, but again they are very expensive. I am still on OEM discs, as didnt want the expense at the time, but will buy better discs next time and still keep the Pagid Blues.

I ran a group buy recently with Alyn at AS Performance. Give him a ring I am sure you wont be disapointed. he will advise you on best options and his prices are very keen.

I used grooved discs and DS 2500 on my 4 pots last year in the race RA and they were very effective. I am using Endless racing pads on the front of my Blobeye WRX and they are as good as the DS2500 but slightly cheaper. As I said give Alyn a ring its well worth it for the advice and a quote.
