i have a 04 reg sti mods include scooby clinic sc40 turbo bigger fuel pump typhoon kit and a prodrive exhaust. i was thinking of getting a decat as this seems a cheap mod, will i need a remap ? and how much more power is this likely to release

 

Yea newage imprezas really should get a re-map after a de-cat, dont know why but im sure someone will be along soon to tell you why. You could leave it but just think of the bill if it all goes wrong

 

Yes you will need a remap, these cars boost spike on full decats which causes det and that kills your engine, not exactly a cheap mod after that
