Default What version is my Impreza...

Its a 1997 JDM WRX. MY97 i'm lead to believe.

Any other info needed??

Ummmm, sounds like you know what version your car is: a 1997 model year JDM WRX.

If you're asking what version "number" your car is, then there isn't one. That whole 2/3/4/5/6 etc thing only applies to STis, but for the record, the 97MY STi was the version 3.

If you're not certain what model year your car is, look at the applied model code stamped on the vehicle ID plate on the RH (if i remember right) strut turret. The fourth character in the string is the model year, so GC8D... would be 96MY, GC8E... =97MY etc etc.

Yea, i've checked there. Its defo an MY97.

... yes its the version 1/2/3 or 4 that i need as i'm trying to establish if a Power FC will match my car

think youll need a power fc for version 3/4 that should cover you, ask simon at jgm

Your car doesnt have a version, only JDM classic STI's have versions, they go from version 2 to version 6, you need to go off the model year

Thanks for the reply, the serial number of the Power FC i'm looking at buying is PFC GC8A 010-0200... as i'm buying 2nd hand. Can you help establish if the one i'm buying will fit my car (1997 JDM WRX)
