Default '95 wrx automatic worries

Hey guys, I found two dipsticks leading to what looks like both sides of the auto box - a long one that is under the intercooler, with pinky fluid in - and one shorter chunky one on the other side of the box (turbo side) with duller brown oil in.................

I got told to put some 75/90 Castrol Syntrax diff oil in the pinky fluid tube before finding out they 'weren't too sure' actually....

Is this JUST for the front diff?.........

Is the other little dipstick JUST for the autobox itself??........

Have i screwed up my auto box by chucking in 1/2 a litre of possibly the wrong fliud?....

I took it out for a spin, and all seems well, but havnt done any serious mileage in it yet.

Any advice would be awesome. Cheers

Hi the shorter dip stick on the left as you look at it is the front diff, the longer on the right is the auto box dip stick, which is a red, pinky colour.

I would dump all the auto box fluid ,and put new in jus to be on the safe side ,as the oil you put in by mistake is quite thick compared to auto trans fluid,it may affect the valves and the solinoids in the auto trans
