Default Water Entry in Boot 53 Plate Wrx Saloon

After all this wet stuff we have had recently, I now have a spare wheel footwell full of water

Could someone tell me what are the most common points of failure are & points of entry ...

Before i go out & buy some gold fish

Cheers.

I remember a thread on here where it went all the way from early classic to hawkeye and everyones boot smelt like a dead dog. Mine leaks now and again. Rear lights are a favourite source if I remember correctly. Must check mine now / bail it out

We have had so much rain over the past few days, That i was thinking of fitting a couple of Oars to my wing mirrors & rowing to work

Dean my 53 UK STI leaked from round the boot seal at the top left hand corner (as you face the rear of the car). A new seal sorted it.

Spray a hose on it there and see if water pours in or not.
