Default replacing sump with a baffled one

Looking into replacing my sump with a baffled one and have been told its a days work ( engine out etc) which means using a cossie plate would set me back roughly 700 notes. Also how many peeps on here run r888's without a baffled sump? Any of you, none of you ?

The sump can be replaced without taking the engine out, although it's not the easiest job. Circa 3 hours labour.

Mark.
