Help...scraping noise from rear diff
Hi,
I got my car (05 JDM STI) back from a gearbox and rear LSD oil change (Redline 75W90) yesterday.
Driving it the 7 miles to work today, I braked hard from around 70, then noticed a scraping noise from under the rear. At first, thought a mudflap had worked loose and was dragging on the road, but it wasn't them.
Can the rear LSD be overfilled, and if so, could it cause the noise ?

....found it, the noise was so loud it just sounded like it was coming from the rear.
The plastic heat shield under the gearbox had not been replaced properly, the air was catching it at speed, then under braking it hit the ground and is now useless.
Any ideas where I can get a new plastic heat shield ?
Thanks everyone for listening
