Default Exedy advise please.......

I have a MY03 STi 6 Speed which is having a 2.1 stroker fitted as we speak and I know I may as well put a clutch in at the same time but Im a little confused with the organic/paddle options.

On the Exedy website it states that the torque handling of either is the same even though it says stage 1 or Stage 2 so whats the point of a paddle over an organic version?

Also is the jump from a paddle to a hyper single really worth nearlly 3x the cost?

Any advise appreceiated

Organic for road, paddle for track/drag/McD's......

IMHO

P.S. Hyper single on mine, going 2.1 next year...

Cool thanks for that.

Is the paddle version a little more robust than the organic version then??

Whats the Hyper Single like on the road?

TBH a paddle is horrible on the road, the best organic clutch for power and road use is the Helix. Paddles are more like a switch whereas the organic will feel closer to stock.

The cost from BOB'5 is £599 for the clutch on its own or £799 inc a lightweight flywheel. Delivery is £12.99

sounds like a cracking deal to me

As long as you can fit it yourself! Otherwise, budget for at least another £350 fitting?
