Quick question about wheels
Do the standard wheels from a 2001 - 2004 Impreza Sti fit a 2003 Blobeye Impreza WRX? It has 215/40/17 tyres on it.

They are the same fitment, 5x100 so yes.

The wheels are wider, when I looked at a set with 215 tyres on they looked a little stretched, so I waited and bought a set with 225's on

Would they not rub with 225's on a WRX?

No they won't rub, i ran 225/45r17's on my standard WRX rims on a lowered blobeye. The extra tyre width fills the arches a bit better too.
