Sounds like a possible CV joint. Is it worse if you turn slowly with full lock on and if so does it happen from one particular side?

It sounds like a CV joint or a wheel bearing. Either way you need to get it into a decent garage and get it checked asap, unless you know someone of course

If you jack the car up and grab the wheel at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions and then the 3 and 9 o'clock position and see if it will wobble, if it does it is the wheel bearing, but if it doesn't wobble it doesn't mean it isn't. TBH, if you don't know what you are looking for it will probably be a waste of your time. I'm not a professional mechanic, although I have been fixing and modifying cars for 18 years, and I still get second opinions on some stuff.

I'd agree with Jon, CV joints click like **** when they're shot.

If you had the same noise some time ago but it went away, it could be something as simple as a stone/debris stuck between the pad and the disc, which then gets thrown out. Otherwise yes, I agree with the others - I've had clicking noises from both front wheels, one which was the stone problem, the other required a new driveshaft!
