Default Aem Cold Air Intake On New Age

hi

anybody fitted one of the above mentioned on a newage (mine is a blob) and ifso, does it need to be remapped, or will the ecu take care of the change itself?

also, after reading the instructions online, it still wasn't really clear where the filter ends up. is it right behind the right foglight? and ifso it would then benefit from removing the foglight?

thanx best rgds Robert

They sit in the wing yeah, behind the fog light cover. I wouldn't personally remove the cover in case it sucks water up.

You Will need a remap definitely yes.

ok cool thanks.

was thinking of making a few holes in the cover then. (mainly the dry weather car anyway)
sort of smae idea i did on my supermoto.

you reckon it'll be driveable fitted? ie can i fit it myself and then drive to the remap?

I had the same fitted without a remap for a month or so and never caused any problems.
