Anyone in the know on this one.

I know that the number of STi Uk cars out there are a little thin on the ground at the mo and that the chance of finding someone who has tried this is very slim....

I have the above said exhaust full decatted on my MY00 UK car. I know that the full system will not fit the new car, but can I get something like the back box on, or even the mid and back box.

Love my HKS to bits and would like to have it on the STi I think.

Anyone...

Judging by the fact that Scoobysport sell different centre sections and backboxes for 00 and 01 models I doubt any part of the exhaust carries over to the new model.

I could be wrong though!

Why don't you take the box along to someone like powerflow?
They'll mate the box up to wherever you want with one of their custom jobbies.

The backbox/pipework is physically the same, but the hangers are in a different place - so, no i'm afraid.

ScoobySport can convert theirs for someone going from a MY00 to a MY01 by having the hangers cut off and welding on some '01 hangers, for about £30.

The STi also needs a different centre section to the MY01 WRX to give extra clearance as the diff housing on the STi is about 15mm wider on the STi.
