Hi there i reversed the other day in my subaru wrx 52 plate quite hard and as the car was moving say 10 mph there was a hell of a bang as if the gearbox had let go or it had jumped out of gear, i Sxxt myself it was that loud, i dont know if it had jumped out of gear or not as i dipped the clutch so fast. Has anyone got any ideas?

Im new on hear by the way so help on how to use the forum would be good two cheers

 

Rear diff carrier lurching around can hit the bodywork, especially if you launch it (forwards OR backwards !)

P.S. Additional "pineapple" rings are available to stop this, I need some....
