Which Oil (for track)....(yet again)
Chaps,
Done to death I know but due to search...blah...blah....blah....
I'm fairly certain Motul 300V 15w-50 is the way to go. I want to get some decent oil in for Bedford so was basically hoping for some confirmation and also, where can you get it and how much do you need?
Cheers,
Matt

Matt,
stick with the Motul circa £40 for 5ltr. You need 4.5ltr.
How long is it since you last changed the oil? If it's recent I'd leave the change until after Bedford as the oil will probably lose it's properties after a day on track.
If it's been a while I'd change it before and after. Expensive yes, but who said track days were cheap!

I used Motul 300v 15-50 on all trackdays last summer, no issues....but I do think the most important bit is to have fresh oil in the lump...change it after a trackday in other words.
Weights around 10-40 and 15-50 will work well IMHO....fully synthetic is a must with high temperatures.
