Have you got the uni-chip fitted and what are your thoughts.

No news yet the car isn't ready til tomorrow morning,
apparently this is the first impreza they have done.
It went on the rollers again this morning and made 293 bhp down 3 on the last rolling road day.
With the unichip it is now holding boost of just over 1.2 bar, but as yet no power figures.

 

Andy have you been there all day, I didn't book same day as you as they said they couldn't garantee finishing 2 in a day. I am supposed to be going away on the next morning

 

No I dropped the car off and went back at the end of the day to see how they were getting on.
They reckon that yours will be done in a day no problem its just that they had to keep speaking to unichip as this was the first impreza they have done.

Yes and no , have got the car back but haven't got full power figures yet.
Went to pick it up and they were on the rollers with it torque is up to 262 power at peak torque is up to 285 bhp up 19 but then the intake temp rose and the power tailed off .
I did not have enough time to let the car cool enough for another run, so I have got to go back for another power run next week.
The car does feel quicker and John Noble expects to see around 320 bhp, but it is frustrating not knowing ekactly what difference it has made.
By the way they have another Subaru rolling road day on the 20th April but apparently it is already booked up,Although did manage to squeeze me in.
