Default Wheel Cleaning:- brake dust spots

Currentley using Meguiars Wheel Brightener, which I find very good, but is leaving behind some brake dust spots, that it just wont get off.
Not sure whether to strengthen the mixture?, or try something else?

Looking at Autosmart Tardis, seen this working well on some of the cars PB has worked on, on body work, but is it ok for Alloy wheels?

Also tried claying them, worked ok-ish but would like better.

I'd strengthen the WB mix first, going down to 2:1 or 1:1 if needs be - you can also apply it and agitate it using a work towel to treat stubborn spots if needs be (just wear rubber gloves if you do this!). If this fails, Tardis is worth a shot, but bear in mind this only removes tar spots and other organics - if the problem is baked on carbon, then Tardis won't shift it. The final solution would be claying using an aggressive clay, but this will be tedious work. The joys of wheel care lol!
