Default Right dipping lights in the UK - where from?

2000 MY classic shape WRX.

Need some right dipping lights, ideally to buy in the UK or Portugal.

What lights would the panel suggest? Angeleyes?

And, where the heck can I find them? Drawn a total blank so far. "Nah mate, we only sell left dip..."

TIA

TanyaTrianglesTransport LTD !

A new business opportunity ?

P.S. Any unit with a projector lens will have a flat cut-off, so should be fine, imho.

Hmm. I see people selling projector units from the US to the UK, so possibly you are right, they are the same. Anyone know for sure? That would be ideal...

In the meantime, yeah, I could muck about on German ebay for ages, but surely anyone getting lights from Angeleyes can in theory order me an RHS dipping set? All I need to find is a supplier who isn't stupid and / or idle. So far though, no luck. I'm still hoping someone here knows of a supplier who do that tricky **** / elbow distinction bit.

Ooh, new email just come in from a moron who doesn't understand the concept of "special order..." :-)

Thanks for the import suggestion, however, I live in Europe (Portugal), so that's not a problem. The problem is I keep nearly parking the car on top of roundabouts at 90 per in the dark, so I need to change the lights over... Took me ten minutes with the SAAB, the Harley, and the Triumph 955. Not sure why the Scoob is proving an issue.

Turns out Angeleyes are made by Junyan and a special order takes 3 months. Which would be annoying, but not impossible.

But surely, if you live in Portugal, Portuguese e-bay, a Portuguese dealer, or a Portuguese breaker would be simpler? Or am I missing something?

Simplest way remains phone up a UK accesories seller and buy one. If I can't do that then yes, it can be done here. However:

No Portuguese ebay. I can use any European ebay, if I must.

Spares in Portugal cost a bomb. Stupid money. Doesn't help that Entroposto, the importers, were in dispute with Subaru last time I looked. They are the worst distributor in the whole world, hated by everyone (they also ruin Nissan) and most people would rather eat a lake of goat's vomit than deal with them. This isn't just me being bolshy, they really are scum.

No internet breaker network, very rare car (I've seen two in nine years) so finding one off a breaker would be pretty much impossible.

So, sure, it can be done, with a great deal of cursing. But just buying some in the UK is a lot simpler, or at least, I assumed it would be. Right now, it is looking hard. I kind of assumed there would be a co-operative Scooby specialist with aftermarket lights who would either have some RH dipping ones or could order them from a European depot in a couple of weeks.

Possibly time to pester some German tuning firms if the Bristish aren't playing.

Some Projectors have a moving cut off (eg: BMW and Mini's)

Mine were from a Jaguar and are static

Cant recall but think you make be above to modify a standard headlight to give you the cut off you need. Got a spare headlight in the garage if you wanna play (non-crystal).

IF you opt to go down the retrofit route give me a shout

Thanks! In the end though the simplest answer seems to be to get some from the US. Any reason I shouldn't buy these?

Personally, not my cup of tea.........

You could get some Depo OEM headlights with the right dip from ebay (US) as others have suggested.

At the end of the day - as long as you are happy that's the main thing.
