Default Indicator Issue

Hi Guys,

Got a slight issue with my front driver’s side indicator...the other day when signaling right the indicators went at twice the speed they should...no worries a bulb has gone I thought. When I got home however and turned the indicators on to see which bulb needed to be replaced they were all working perfectly

This happened a few times and every time I got out of the car to check they would all start working again...after a few times of this I managed to find that it was the drivers side front that’s playing up....no amount of wiggling the wires will get it to work when its stopped but after a while it will just start working again.

tis very strange, anyone else had this? I’m thinking it’s a loss wire but everything seems to be intact around the light unit it’s self. I will be replacing the bulb any how as a precaution as its not exactly expensive but I’m not convinced it is the bulb as surely it would just stop working??

Cheers

Chris

Could be a loose connection, but more likely to be corrosion at the bulb, or loom contacts.

Also try a new bulb, could be an intermittent fault in the bulb?
