A few electrical issues. Advice please.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi. I've owned my WRX WRC Type RA MY00 for a couple of weeks now. Inside and out its immaculate but I've noticed a few minor faults.
1. The hazard lights only work if you keep button pressed down.
2. Rear window heater doesn't appear to work.
3. Electric mirrors don't work.
4. Front speakers don't work.
5. No central locking. (Although I think this is an extra)
I know Type RA's are stripped out and understand that some features are optional extras but my car does have electric windows and air con which both work fine.
I was wondering if these were connected or were affected by the same relay? I don't really know much about cars or their electrics.
Please help.
Thanks
Luke

Sounds like fuses. Have you a manual, there are two fuseboxes one under the driver's side coin tray, one under the bonnet passenger side.
MY '00.....classic, right? I can tell you which fuses control what on my UK classic which may be a start.
As for the Hazard lights, it sounds like the switch isn't latching. Contact a breaker like Grade A at Hayfield in the High Peak for one out of a similar car, or a dealer if you want to pay a lot to get new
Grade A will post to you, btw.
