Default Ruined my tyre

I went for a sprited drive the other day in the countryside. I approached a bend a tad "hot", so hit the anchors pretty hard, then realised I don't have ABS fitted

Ended up locked the front right wheel badly, creating a huge cloud of white smoke. Managed to scrub enough speed to take the corner ok but then, after changing my pants , I noticed significant wobble through the steering wheel and a rythmic sounds coming from the front wheels.

Anyway, after inspecting the front tyres I've discovered a massive flat spot on the front-right tyre - gutted. What started out as a jaunt in the country is now going to cost £100-£200 to replace one or two of the front tyres. ****.

On a more positive note, I've hopefully secured a 3" full decat Milltek exhaust from a fellow SN'er

Just need the induction kit, uprated turbo acuator and a map tweak and "hello 370 bhp"

Bad luck mate Lucky you dropped your speed enough tho

Changing the two would be a better idea, so they're the same tread on either side The modding bug has hit again

Thanks for the support and info guys, tried to buy a single Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta today but there's a supply shortage and nobody's got any in stock.

I had to drive to Reading today and the steering wobble is unbearable so phoned Peak Performance in Llandow in the end to see what they'll charge for fitting one if I order it from mytyres.

They offered me a decent price on two Bridgestone Potenza RE050A'a for £99 each fitted so had them done this afternoon.

£200 is a lot to pay out for arsing about mind!!! That'll teach me, I'm sure there's a moral to this story but I won't learn it in a hurry

Gazz300 - yeah, I guessed it was you after you'd passed me - sorry for not waving!

RICH S202 - LOl, yeah sorry Rich but she does like to be driven hard from time-to-time Just bought a 3" full decat Milltek, induction kit and turbo actuator next then a map tweat planned with Bob Rawle.

I do like Ducati's and looked at a GSX-R 750 myself recently (blue and white, obviously, to match the Spec C colours ) How's things, hope they're ok...?

Silver Scooby Sport - I've wondered that myself to be honest, bit wierd driving a car with no ABS, especially in the wet
