Ive got a full set of Miltek stainless headers/up pipe and turbo back full de-cat ready to go on my car. Do i need to put both lamba sensors back in, one on the up-pipe and the other in the turbo down pipe. They both have plugs in at the mo, but when i fit it all which Lamba stays and which one goes.

 

AFAIK should keep them both. Were talking about this today. Front one is needed for sure and should stay in the uppipe. Rear one...people say taking it out makes a car run richer BUT I can't comment on that. I've got both in still (front in uppipe, rear in downpipe).

 

I thought that myself about the rear, perhaps its for the mapping, so as to get more fuel in. Thanks for that mate.

 

the one in the up pipe is a egt sensor so if there is no cat fitted it will put the cel light on as it will think the cat is on fire

 

Im fitting the whole system before the re-map, after ive run the engine in. Think i'll take a trip to carstins to buy a gasket set in the morning.
