wheel offsets

Default wheel offsets

can anyone give me any ideas what my wheel offset would be i have a 2004 wrx the wheels i have on there at the mo are 215/45/17 if that helps the wheels im looking at have an offset of 53 which is mind boggling can anyone help please

ET53 is the factory offset iirc. My aftermarket 18's are ET48.

so does that mean that they'll fit?? sorry im new to all this basically the wheels im looing at are the sti wheels from the hawk eye mine is the blob eye

If yours is a blob WRX then they won't fit. The later blob STIs and hawks had a different stud pattern. The only way to make them fit is to change the hub

PCD or Pitch Circle Diameter.

This is the diameter of an imaginary circle that passes through the centre point of each mounting hole. You will have the same number of holes but the wrong spacing & the wheel won't fit.
