The HDi all day long, will do double that mileage and far better mpg and poke than the petrols. However you've got it wrong, this should be in the mix:

Peugeot : 306 GTi 6

Peugeot : Peugeot 306 GTI 6 FSH 96k miles

Peugeot : Peugeot 306 GTI-6 81K Leather A1 condition

Thanks ScoobyJawa, I also thought about the GTi 6 but we want a 5-door.

I suspect the insurance might be a bit high on the GTi as well - great car though.

It's a shame the Rallyes hold their value so much else that would be what I'd buy her (even though it's a 3-door)

 

Thats a shame, in which case I'd take the HDi over a boggo petrol any day mate In its time was one of the best diesel units around in a car of its type....
