I had to laugh today.

I was driving along the A508 between Stony Stratford and Northampton today when some bonehead and his mates in a Burgundy Laguna overtook me on a bend.

I let him carry on and as we approached Grafton Regis, he carried on through the 30 limit at about 65. I always slow down to 30 through there as I did today.

What was just over the hill? A Northants Police safety camera van

I Reckon the turkey was doing over 60 so he may get a ban? Either way, he gets to part with at least £60 and have 3 points on his licence.

I had to chuckle. I don't think he even noticed the van as he just carried on at speed.

Another good news story. Speed in built up areas IS bad news and everyone should conform. Nice to know that the police have caught a nonces car.

Simillar happened to me on A43 last Sunday

Y plate E320 CDi thought that he'd give the scooby behind a "seeing to" (LOL ) and booted it off once the car in front had pulled over. I know this as he'd been pootling along before I turned up behind him, but when he noticed, just before the car in front moved over, his passenger had turned round & grinned at me

I followed to a certain extent ( ) but this guy was gung-ho for it and was hammering it up the hill of this bit of dual carriageway. At the top of the hill was a Truvelo. I made sure I was legal speed way before but he didn't realise/see I reckon in excess of 100

I flashed at him after he'd been through Wonder if it had film in it...
