Thumbs up Whats your Newage running temps

What sort of water running temps are people getting in their newage cars (in degrees if possible) both for crusing and in traffic?

Trying to judge if my bugeye is normal or not!

Thanks

Oil seems to be "locked" at 92 degrees, but I haven't been over 5000 rpm due to a re-map being required....

Water, erm never moves it's always just above "halfway" !

EGT from 300 to 700 degrees....

HTH

Degrees what? In degrees C mine sits at 78-80 on the Defi in cruising, then rises to 94 in traffic & both fans cut in. I think the Defi reads a couple of degrees low though. HTH.

i use a psi3 datamonitor which takes water temp from the OBDII port, it is 87-91deg c, and has gone as high as 97 sitting in traffic.

Mine sits somewhere between 85 and 90 when normal driving, usually about 88 degrees (psi3 monitor), but creeps up to 96 when stuck in traffic. Oil temp goes up to 90 during normal driving, but up to 95 when motoring or stuck in traffic.

Thanks guys. My dash guage is always sits below half, but I recently fitted a PSI3 and its reading over 90s regularly and even over 100 degrees c which has me a little worried!!
My bottom rad pipe never seemed to be warm so I put a new stat in yesterday and carefully re-bleed. Pipe now warms up on idle but goes cold again after a run.
Im just trying to figure if mine is normal. Ive been told that its ok and the dash guage wont rise past the middle til about 110! My worry is is it a sign of HG failure? But the car ticks over perfectly and runs perfectly including on boost etc.

I have exactly the same problem - airlock created on-boost, but fine otherwise. Replaced stat and pump but still does it. HG gone in my case: water level went down and smell of combustion gases in header tank!

Check coolant level over the next few days to see if it's down. Is there coolant over the battery tray? Does the expansion bottle have rapid bubbling after a hoon, etc, etc...
