Default Advice on changing rear box

Hi i want to change my rear box but after looking i have a 3in bore going into the box i have at the mo.

i was wondering if it is possible that i can fit a 2.5in rear box to the 3in centre pipe.

it is not a bolt on unit it is a sleaved unit and have been offered a 2.5in rear box.

any help would be great.

is your current 3" piping sleeve fit as well?

If so, you can get a 3" -> 2.5" reducer from jetex (http://www.jetex.co.uk).

Look here: Jetex Custom Exhaust Parts - Build your own custom design for road, race or rally use...

About halfway down there's a "stepped sleeve". You might be able to use that
