HELP ! ok iv got a 1998 impreza wrx import,

when driving with light throttle and foot off the clutch the pedal vibrates like crazy like something is loose but if i take up the slight bit of free play it stop's.

its the most annoying thing in the world has any one got or had this or know what i need to repair this fault ppppplllllllllllleeeeeaaaaaaasssssseeeeeeeeeeeee hhhhhhhheeeeeeelllllppppppppp

 

any ideas?????????????

 

Hi, my 98' terzo does the same thing....
After reading up on here it kinda pointed to a flywheel problem, suppose to be a common problem Do a search for "flywheel vibrations".
People on here suggested doing a couple of quick starts by dumping the clutch, worked for me, but it comes back every now and again but the vibration is not as much now.

Thanks for your reply but its not juddering its only the pedal that vibrates if i take up the free play by resting my foot on the pedal it stop's????????????
