its probably nothing serious,but i have an sti8 with a few mods,couple including a full scoobyclinic 3inch system,magnex twin dump downpipe and rcm headers.prob is,after about 6months of this being on its started to get a bit raspy at high revs,bout 6k upwards.cant c any signs of leaks,but hard to c a lot as heat wrapped the headers n downpipe.any ideas please!.

 

I have a 2.5 " H+S system with 3" decat d/p.
It produces a hurendous rasp at high revs almost like a NAS car. No leaks either. hth

 

thanks mate,was just concerned as it wasnt there when i first fitted the system,but suppose it could have just oiccured as the exhaust settled in?
